By accessing and using GhanaHousePlanner, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this service.

Service Description

GhanaHousePlanner provides:

• ✅ Material quantity calculations based on KNUST research
• ✅ 3D visualization and floor plan generation
• ✅ Project management and construction phase tracking
• ✅ Material shopping lists and construction timelines

What We Are:

• ✅ An estimation and planning tool
• ✅ A project management platform
• ✅ A visualization tool

What We Are NOT:

• ❌ Professional architectural or engineering services
• ❌ A licensed contractor or builder
• ❌ A substitute for professional consultation
• ❌ A guarantee of final construction costs

Cost Estimates

Important: Cost estimates provided by Ghana House Planner are approximations based on market research and historical data. Actual construction costs may vary due to:

• Market price fluctuations
• Regional availability of materials
• Contractor pricing
• Site conditions and accessibility
• Design complexity and customizations
• Unforeseen circumstances

Professional Advice

GhanaHousePlanner is a planning tool and does NOT replace professional advice. Always consult with:

• Licensed architects for design and planning
• Structural engineers for safety and compliance
• Licensed contractors for accurate quotes
• Legal professionals for permits and regulations

Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy using data from VillaSharks, KNUST research, and ResearchGate, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. Users should verify all information with local suppliers and professionals.

User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must sign in with Google to save projects
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• One account per user
• Must be 18+ years old to create an account

Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that:

• Violate these terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Misuse the platform
• Remain inactive for extended periods

Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• ❌ Use the service for illegal purposes
• ❌ Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service
• ❌ Share your account credentials
• ❌ Upload malicious content or viruses
• ❌ Scrape or extract data using automated tools
• ❌ Impersonate others or provide false information
• ❌ Use the service to spam or harass others

Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software) are owned by GhanaHousePlanner and are protected by Ghana and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain all rights to your project data. By using our service, you grant us a license to store and process your data solely to provide the service.

Third-Party Data

Cost data is derived from publicly available sources (VillaSharks, KNUST research, ResearchGate). We acknowledge and respect these sources.

Limitation of Liability

GhanaHousePlanner is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for:

• Inaccurate cost estimates or material calculations
• Construction delays or cost overruns
• Decisions made based on platform estimates
• Data loss or service interruptions
• Third-party service failures

Maximum Liability: In no event shall our liability exceed the amount you paid us (which is GH₵ 0, as the service is free).

Refund Policy

GhanaHousePlanner offers both free and paid subscription plans (Starter and Pro). This refund policy applies to all paid subscription services and premium features.

Subscription Plans

We offer monthly and yearly subscription plans. The following refund policy applies to all paid subscriptions:

• Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for.
• Refund Window: Refunds for subscription fees may be available within 14 days of the initial purchase or renewal, provided the service has not been substantially used (e.g., you have not generated multiple AI floor plans, created multiple projects, or heavily utilized premium features).
• Partial Refunds: For yearly subscriptions, partial refunds for unused months may be considered on a case-by-case basis if cancellation occurs within the first 30 days and the service has not been substantially used.

Digital Products & Services

• AI Floor Plan Generation: AI-generated floor plans and 2D/3D visualizations are delivered immediately upon generation. Due to the digital nature of these products, refunds are generally not available once the floor plan has been generated and downloaded, except in cases of technical failure on our part that prevents delivery or results in unusable output.
• AI Design Agent Credits: Credits used for AI floor plan generation are non-refundable once consumed. Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period and are not refundable.
• Project Management Features: Premium project management features (collaboration, advanced analytics, etc.) are included as part of your subscription. Refunds for these features follow the same policy as subscription refunds.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

• ✅ Technical failure on our part that prevents you from accessing or using a paid feature
• ✅ Duplicate charges or billing errors
• ✅ Service discontinuation before the end of your paid period
• ✅ Request made within 14 days of purchase for unused services

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

• ❌ Floor plans or visualizations that have been successfully generated and downloaded
• ❌ Services that have been substantially used or consumed
• ❌ Refunds requested more than 30 days after purchase
• ❌ Refunds for dissatisfaction with cost estimates or material calculations (as these are estimates, not guarantees)
• ❌ Refunds for changes in market prices or construction costs

Refund Process

To request a refund for a paid subscription, please contact us at [email protected] with:

• Your account email address
• Date of purchase
• Reason for refund request
• Transaction ID or receipt (if available)

We will review your request within 5-7 business days and respond via email. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10-14 business days.

Service Availability

We strive for 99% uptime but do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted access to the service
• Error-free operation
• Compatibility with all devices/browsers
• Permanent availability (we may discontinue)

We may perform maintenance, updates, or improvements that temporarily affect availability.

Changes to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features
• Update pricing data and calculations
• Change these terms with notice
• Add or remove supported regions

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
